This series of paintings arose from a wish to keep creating paintings during the ‘lockdown’ restrictions using subjects that did not need to be visited and recorded outside the home environment. Fortunately we enjoyed glorious weather during this period and most of the days were continuous sunshine which made colours in my garden very vibrant and proved to be an ideal subject to paint.
