This abstract painting is a compilation of motifs and items that originate from the courtyards of several Moroccan Riads, giving the picture a sense of colour and place, common in these places. The warm pink / terracotta walls made from a form of adobe mud that is the common construction of these buildings. It forms the background of the painting, incorporating architectural elements and native objects that appeared to be floating in the composition. Acrylic paint is applied thickly on the surface and overpainted many times with soft, complementary tones, conveying a restful environment. Some native plants and trees are briefly described giving a homely environment.
