- The painting shows a colourful assortment of gardening relate objects together with areas of the plot against a backdrop of trees.
The paint has been laid down in slabs of colour and mixtures of contrasting tones which tend to flatten the perspective. This makes for an interesting pattern of forms and textures with a few strategic lines to complement the vertical edge of the side of the hut.
