- Allotments are generally divided into areas that are allocated by size and position. Their owners then tend each plot according to their preferences and interests in what they may like to produce. The composition has been created by many layers of thin brush marks, sometimes overlapping each other and other times, over-painting the rough forms of the underpainting. The many colours are derived from the articles found on the site, such as the sheds, cloches and growing beds.
