  • The painting features the entrance to a public park, on the site of what was once a working farm called Jersey Farm, an appropriate name as it stocked Jersey cows. At the top of the painting, there is a horizon with a line of trees that border an area of meadows. Many of the features in the fields are sketched in using a loose interpretation, including the siting of a grey pathway.
