The painting shows an ancient wooden blue door typical to others found as entrances to workshops and dwellings in Morocco. The vibrant blue contrasts with the warm soft colours of its surrounds. Other architectural features and forms complete a montage of colours and shapes.
The rough loose application of paint describes the surfaces and colours fading into each other in a constructed entity, that lends the picture a number of views coalescing one painting.
