- A tumultuous mixture of sky and clouds hovers over a series of dry grass fields bordered by the dark blue shapes of a line of trees.
This complex assembly of multiple blue tones in the upper section is divided by two large white clouds, which lend energy to the picture. The lower half of the painting offsets the upper by using softer yellow tones, describing the dry grass meadows in the lower half.
